2. You must answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you.

3. Must nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.

And now I answer my Qs!

1. How did you choose your blog name?

When I was little I used to catch butterflies and have them as pets in a jar (with holes in the lid). Plus, “butterfly” means rebirth, a start of a new life. This symbolism has always appealed to me.

2. What is your greatest ambition?

To be a part of a hit TV show or a full-length movie for it’s whole run time. Whether as an actor, a director or just a crew member. I’d rather prefer actor, but anything can work as long as I can be a part of such experience. Which is a HUUGE ambition and I have no idea if that would come true.

3. Where is the most exotic location you have travelled to?

Since neither Germany nor Russia’s north are exotic, then my answer is the tropical butterfly house in the Botanical Garden here, in Latvia.

4. What is your favourite book?

I don’t have one… I think. Every book I finish is my favourite for a while. There are just books I like, no favourites. But I do like to read mystery, fantasy, romance, crime, and probably more that I cannot recall at the moment. The last book I read was Agatha Cristie “The orient express”.

5. If you could be an animal for the day, what would it be?

I would be a bird. So I could fly around Europe or maybe the whole world and see it.

6. When was the last time you laughed uncontrollably?

At [theater] rehearsal a few weeks ago. I laughed uncontrollably twice, I believe it was the same rehearsal. First laugh was during aerobics, we were doing the small swings and I could not do it so the director just came up, took my legs and swung me. I laughed while crying. Second laugh was during table read. We had read the scene for a few times before with the script in front of us and I already knew my lines well so the next read was without the script. There were two lines that [without thinking] I mixed up and it turned out to be so wrong yet so hilarious that I was not able to calm myself for 5 minutes. I was in tears. And I was not alone. 😂
P.s.  I am publishing this one like a month after I wrote this and saved this draft so.. this time the last time I laughed uncontrollably was on film set with my volunteer buddies. We laughed about a lot, but one of the things was finger gloves in mittens. A new innovation I created that we are going to patent. But then an even better idea came that we can patent – socks in boots. You probably wonder – what? There’s seriously nothing funny about it! BUT.. the funny thing is that this is not funny at all and so stupid and universal. Or maybe we were just in a state where everything seemed like the world’s funniest and most hilarious thing ever. And then there was another thing yesterday at the theater rehearsal, but that one I will save for some other time perhaps. 😉

7. What is your drink of choice?

Tea… or water.

8. Which famous person, dead or alive, would you like to have lunch with?

Lin Manuel-Miranda. He is the most positive person alive, so inspirational and such an amazing human being. So many things that I want to discuss with him.

9. What is your first childhood memory?

I don’t know if this is the first one, first one is not appropriate to tell, but I remembered it was just before I started kindergarten, I was crossing a street with dad and we were talking about going to kindergarten and I was so sure that “going every day” meant that I go one day to kindergarten,  next day is free, the next day is kindergarten, and so on and on. Like, every other day.

10. What is your favourite pizza topping?

Pineapple

11. Can money buy you happiness?

Yes. Not eternal happiness tho. But the little happy moments.. f.e., a pizza is something that brings you a little happiness, a new dress can make you happy, perhaps a camera or basically anything else that can make you happy for some time.

Thank you Girl Friday for these questions! I loved answering these! Had loads of fun!
